IELTS


IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is jointly owned and administered by four organizations: the British Council, IDP, IELTS Australia, and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

IELTS Test are accepted by immigration departments in various countries, it's important to note that the specific requirements may vary depending on the country or immigration program.

There are two main types of the IELTS test:

  • Academic – For individuals wishing to study at universities or colleges in English-speaking countries.
  • General Training – For individuals looking employment, immigration, or high school purposes.

Both versions of the test share the same Listening and Speaking sections, but the Reading and Writing sections will vary.

IELTS scores are reported as band scores, ranging from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest). The scores are designed to be easy to understand.

IELTS can be taken either paper-based or computer-based, offering flexibility depending on the test center. Results are valid for two years from the test date.
